manna ministry
The Manna Food Program distributes non-perishable food items and personal care products to community individuals and families in need.
You can use the Manna Food Program as a way to provide food and personal care products for your family without being a member of First Baptist Cleveland. This ministry, and others like it, are designed to care for and support the community in which we live as Jesus Christ would.
Getting Started
Everyone is eligible and can utilize the Manna Food Program once every 30 days per household. All that is required is a form of personal identification.
Visit the Manna Food Program at First Baptist Cleveland during available hours to get started.

jail ministry
The Jail Ministry is Mission 423’s newest project. Each week rotating teams go into the local jails and minister to the inmates. The hope is that through the relationships built within the jail, inmates will leave with a strong community that will be able to walk with them once they are released.
Lead Bible Study
Meets every Tuesday at 10am
mission 423
One of the 4 pillars of Mission 423 is our weekly outreach initiative, in which teams go out and serve within the community by building relationships as well as hosting a backyard Bible club for the children present. Our goal is that through community outreach we can work to build the bridges that often separate us in our community.

GO. LOVE. SERVE.
The entire church of First Baptist Cleveland will be mobilized for a church-wide serve day in projects all over the Bradley County area on one special Sunday, September 12. Join one of 100+ service projects by registering online.
OUTSIDE OF HOMES
There are many homes that need improvements and clean up. There will be 50-100 jobsites dedicated to chores such as, raking, mowing, weed-eating, picking-up, and cleaning these homes.
NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS
Helping those who help others, such as City Fields (Hands and Feet), Bradley Cleveland Services (Senior Center, Emergency Homeless Shelter), Boys and Girls Clubs, Family Promise, Foundation House Ministries, Hope4One (adoptive and foster families), New Hope Pregnancy Center, WillowBend Farms (Trafficking), Life Bridges (special needs), Project Free2Fly, Salvation Army, and others.
PRAYER WALKING
Praying for specific needs in designated areas. This could include driving to remote communities and praying!
ASSISTED LIVING/NURSING HOMES
Many people have no families to visit them. That doesn’t mean that they don’t want a hug and a smile. Help show appreciation and God’s love to individuals in this situation.
BAKING COOKIES
Bake 4 dozen cookies to help say “thank you” to deserving First Responders and others.
INSIDE/OUTSIDE SCHOOLS
When there is so much to do and so little time to do it, teachers, administrators, and staff in area schools often need help. Serve at an elementary school to help as needed.
NEIGHBORHOOD CLEANUP
Many local streets and roads need to be cleaned up. You can help with this effort.
INSIDE/OUTSIDE CHURCHES
Helping local churches in various communities with their landscaping and other “fix-up” needs.
DISASTER RELIEF
Teams mobilized to respond to local disasters.
FBC CARES
FBC Cares is an outreach initiative that Mission 423 does every few months, in which a team will go out into the community and aid the people of our community through house repairs or other types of service.
