The Experience
Fun, scenic, downhill (mostly) bicycle ride through lush hillsides, valleys, and over beautiful trestle bridges. 

Ride the historic rails to trails VA Creeper from Whitetop Station to Abingdon. On Friday, ride 13 miles from Abingdon to Damascus through historic Alvarado and over a long curving trestle bridging the convergence of two rivers. On Saturday, ride 21 miles downhill from Whitetop Station through Green Cove and Taylors Valley into Damascus.

Camping at its Best
Set up camp at the beautiful Southwest Virginia 4H Camp.
Share in the preparation and eating of meals. Bring a dessert or side dish to share for Friday or Saturday night’s cookout. Bathrooms with running hot water, showers, toilets, and lavatories to clean up after a great day of riding and exploring.

Experience Trail Days in Damascus, VA
Trail Days in Damascus is when many of the Appalachian Trail through-hikers arrive in Damascus that left Springer Mountain, GA in March. It’s a time of celebration and hiker reunion. 
Most every outdoor gear company sets up their wares to show off and sell.
