Do you ever think “God why?” As much as I work not to, lately, I have found myself thinking, “really, is this really happening right now?” or even  “God why did the process or timing of this start now -like now is not a good time,” or “Lord, how is this going to play out,” or even “when is this going to end?” I am reminded, first of all, that it is not about me. Meaning THE WORLD DOES NOT REVOLVE AROUND ME or YOU!!

We forget that yes, Jesus died for us but there is a whole world He had on His heart & mind that we need to put before ourselves as well! Then we must remember that though the world around us is fallen, lost & broken, we are not! We have the answer. We are supposed to be the light, shining in darkness.

So GIRL, on your worst day remember YOU were created for the very season you are in, just like the Samaritan woman who met a Jewish man on an ordinary day when he asked for a drink but then offered living water that would never run dry. YOU are the salt of the earth because of the power that lives in YOU. Activate it. Stir it up. Get with your girls in the faith & motivate one another but don’t you dare give up, cave in or quit. YOU’RE ENOUGH. YOU’RE WORTH IT & better yet HE IS WORTHY!

How do we maintain our focus? By thinking on the things that are true, noble, right & pure according to Paul’s teaching in the book of Philippians.

Finally, my brothers and sisters, always think about what is true. Think about what is noble, right and pure. Think about what is lovely and worthy of respect. If anything is excellent or worthy of praise, think about those kinds of things.”
