Col 3:13-15 bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. ¹⁴ And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. ¹⁵ And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.

In every relationship I’m in I want to exemplify God. When there is any division or strife that I come across, I think of this verse. We are not perfect, we will make mistakes and that means in our relationships as well.

God is love and if we are wanting to be more like Him than we need to show that love and live that love. Don’t hold on to grudges and let love work through your relationships. No matter what situation you are in, even if forgiveness and love is not received, you at least can know that you did what God has called you to do. When you do that you will have peace.

I’m thankful for a loving God who cares about our relationships and wants us to have a close relationship with Him.
